Lameness: Retired from the Track on June 9, 2012 Due to an Injury of his Front Left Ankle. Has Healed Well with Some Calcification in the Lower Ankle. He gets around no problem in the field and appears to have healed sound for light riding/driving!

Personality: Great temperament,easy to work around,loves carrots . Good for the Farrier
History/Training: Race Horse
Future/Suitability: Light Pleasure Riding or Light Pleasure Driving, at a Walk Only. Not suitable for any hard work because of his ankle.
Additional Info; (From Standardbred Canada): Volatility Factor (3D757) is a 7 year old bay gelding...date of birth March 28 2006..Sire: Artiscape Dam: Puccini Blue Chip...he made $88,355.00 lifetime and has a mark of 1:524..he last raced June 9th 2012 at Flamboro Downs but pulled up and did not finish the race and was put on the vet's list however the start before that on June 2nd he finished 2nd only beat a quarter of a length.

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Vern needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
