Health: Excellent. Stays outside on grass only all summer and only comes in when it’s very cold in the winter. She gets hay in the winter with a mouthful of sweet feed as a treat. She has no problem keeping her weight through the winter. Blind in Left Eye.
Lameness: None - Very Strong Legs & Feet
Vices: None
Personality: Sweet, affectionate, loves to be groomed and scratched. Gets along with other horses very well. Can be timid and scared if handled rough. Does not like her halter or bridle slipped over her head and ears, she will however stand quietly if you do the buckle up on the side.
History/Training: Previously ridden English and Western and did some jumping before she went sour.
Future/Suitability: Went sour for unknown reasons, has been relaxing for the past two years with a bit of lunging. She would require someone with a kind hand and patience to possibly re-train her from the beginning. She would also make a nice broodmare although she has never had a foal. Or companion horse.
Additional Info: I do not want Tori to end up in an abusive or neglectful home. She deserves a loving home even if she is just a companion horse.
