Personality: Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, bathe, farrier, trailer, etc. Good with other horses but lower end of the pecking order. She would really benefit from a one on one relationship with her rider. Definitely not a school horse mentality.

History/Training: Info from previous owner: "Never raced. I have owned Tiffany since she was 3 1/2 years old. She went into immediate training with my then coach to be broken and was in regular training w/t/c, lead changes, hunter, beginning jumping for two and a half years. At 6 she spent almost a year with Karin Davis learning Dressage and it was suggested that her movement and temperament made her ideal for the discipline and that she had a good future there. She was schooled to Level 2/3 movements and enjoyed the work. Tiffany is a healthy, happy mare. She has a lovely trot and canter and is forward moving. As she has been out of consistent work for almost two years, she definitely needs some remedial training. She hates being bullied and objects to a strong leg. She likes support not demands! She is currently best suited to an intermediate with a gentle seat/legs and hands". UPDATE: WE HAVE LEARNED SHE IS NOT SUITED TO DRESSAGE BECAUSE SHE HAS ARTHRITIS AND IS BEST SUITED FOR LIGHT PLEASURE RIDING ONLY. SHE WOULD BE GREAT FOR SOMEONE WHO JUST WANTS TO GO FOR A NICE HACK! NOT FOR A BEGINNER.

Future/Suitability: Light Pleasure Riding, Hacking/Trails - No Strenuous Ring Work or Jumping

We accept donations year round. Donations can be $$, Hay, Feed, Supplements, Feed Store Gift Cards, Saddles, Tack, Riding, Apparel, Blankets (in good usable/sellable condition). We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We have well over $1500+ invested into Tiffany with hay, feed, supplements, vet, farrier, deworming, etc so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Tiffany needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
