Health: Mild Heaves During Humid Months
Lameness: Mild Arthritis. We currently have him on glucosamine/msm twice a day with his feed.
Vices: None Known
Personality: Super Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, farrier, trailer, etc. Good with other horses, ponies and donkeys. He loves attention and being pampered. He would stand all day long if someone was brushing him. Currently turned out with a group of geldings. Stays out 24/7 but comes in twice a day for his pellets/supplements. Loves ponies!
History/Training: School Horse, Trail Horse, Prefers One Rider.
Future/Suitability: Excellent Hack/Trail Horse and Companion! He's happy to hack alone down the trail/road alone or in a group. He would be happy to jump over a log on the trail!!

We have $1100+ invested into Tarquin so please know we are not making a profit on him and appreciate any extra donation you have to offer! We accept donations year round. Donations can be $$, Hay, Feed, Supplements, Feed Store Gift Cards, Saddles, Tack, Riding, Apparel, Blankets (in good usable/sellable condition). We would also gratefully accept volunteer chiropractors, massage therapists, vets, dentists, farriers, etc. Please Email us if you are interested in helping out in some way! Thanks!
We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We have well over $1100+ into Tarquin so we know we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Tarquin needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
