Personality: Super Friendly. Big Puppy Dog. Comes Right Up to You in the Field. Judging by all the war wounds he arrived with he is I would suggest he is lower end of the pecking order. We currently have him out with 5 other geldings and no one is picking on him. Easy to catch, handle, groom, trailer, etc.
History/Training: Racehorse (12 Starts) and More Recently a Pleasure/Trail Horse. Not Sure What He Did In Between. Tanner Is Happy Going English or Western.
Future/Suitability: Companion/Pet, Very Light Pleasure Riding, Trails. Not Suitable for Ring Work or Jumping.

The donation can be $$, tack, riding apparel, hay, feed, etc. We have alot invested into Tanner so please know we are not making a profit on him and appreciate any extra donation you have to offer!
We accept donations year round. Donations can be $$, Hay, Feed, Supplements, Feed Store Gift Cards, Saddles, Tack, Riding, Apparel, Blankets (in good usable/sellable condition). We would also gratefully accept volunteer chiropractors, massage therapists, vets, dentists, farriers, etc. Please Email us if you are interested in helping out in some way! Thanks!
We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Tanner needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
