Personality: Friendly. Easy to lead, groom, tie, trim, trailer, etc. Good with other horses, ponies and donkeys.
History/Training: Skye was destined for slaughter a few years ago, but a kind lady took her in and took care of her. Sadly this spring she found she did not have the time or the experience to deal with her and that is how she came to HCW. Halter Broke. Skye did nothing but sit in a field prior to coming to HCW. She is not yet broke to ride. Sadly I recently paid someone to break/train her 60 days back in Sept/Oct but they never did so I am out the money and Skye is still unbroke.
Future/Suitability: With breaking/training I think she would do well in any discipline .... english, western, riding, driving, show, pleasure. Great Natural Horsemanship Prospect!

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We have well over $3000+ invested into Skye during her stay here with us, so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Skye needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since April 2011.
