Lameness: Arthritis. Also Stringhalt in Right Hind Leg, Some Days it Doesn't Bother Her, Some Days it Does!
Vices: None
Personality: Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, trailer, etc. Pushy with the farrier but will get better with each trim. She also gets pushy and herd bound "if" you don't handle her on a daily basis, but super sweet if you pay attention to her on a regular basis. Loves Foals. Great Babysitter!
History/Training: Companion/Pet/Driving/Pleasure Riding/Broodmare. We took her for a trail ride and she happily plodded along with the other horses, she was excellent on the road.
Future/Suitability: Companion, Pet, Leadline. Very Light Occasional Backyard/Trail Riding at a Walk Only.

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past.We accept email money transfers or cash. We have well over $2000+ invested into Skittles during her time here at HCW so will never recoup what we will have into this mare so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Skittles needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since June 2011.
