Vices: Mild Cribber (mainly when locked in a stall)
Personality: Friendly. Easy to Lead, Groom, Tie, Bath, Trailer, Farrier, etc. Great with Other Horses, Ponies and Donkeys!
History/Training: Slaughterbound with her Unborn Foal. Rescued by HCW. The rest of her previous history is unknown. Sally was barely halter broke at the time. Sally is now well handled. She ground drives nicely so she may make a nice pleasure driving pony. She also free jumps 4 feet - so perhaps she might make a great jumper pony in the future? She is also very athletic and would likely make a great endurance pony!! Started Under Saddle in October 2011. Currently being ridden by a 14 yr old girl doing w/t/c and small courses. Still green so not suitable for a beginner rider.
Future/Suitability: With further training she should be suitable for pretty much anything ... show or pleasure, english or western, pony club, etc. Excellent for natural horsemanship. She has a petite frame so would be suited best to a rider under 125lbs. Unfortunately Sally lost weight and condition at the place where she was boarded for training, prior to going to Hayley and Jenny, but I am sure they (with the help of barn owner - Karen) will have her fat and shiny again in no time at all. Keep an eye out for new pix and videos of Sally in her foster home!!

Please email me if you are interested in adopting Sally! We accept email money transfers or cash. We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We will never recoup what we have into Sally with her purchase price, trailering, hay, feed, supplements, deworming, vet, farrier, training, etc so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, so please feel free to make an offer. All offers will be considered. We cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Sally needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. Sadly no one has inquired about adopting her during her time with us.
