Health: Healthy to our Knowledge. Up to Date on All Shots Including Strangles (required at his previous barn) done in June 2014, by Ilderton Equine. Teeth were floated at the same time.
Lameness: Sound to our Knowledge. Has been Barefoot for Past 10 yrs.
Vices: None Known (not really a "vice" but previous owner said he does not like whips or chain cross ties, but who can blame him!!)
Personality: Loves Ponies and Loves to Play with Toys. Would be a Great Babysitter as he is not high end of Pecking Order.
History/Training: Born in Kentucky. Raced as a 2/3 yr old. Has Mainly Been a Trail Horse and Companion for Past 10 Years, and Knows Some Parelli Groundwork. Is Fine with 24 Hour Turnout with Shelter/Blanket or Is Fine in a Stall at Night. Reese was Adopted out to a Family in 2004 and was Returned this Year (2014) to Know Fault of His Own.
Future/Suitability: Great Trail Horse/Companion .... or Possibly More with Further Training.
Adoption Fee/Purchase Price: $339 + a Donation to HCW. We have well over this amount into him so please know we are not making a profit on him, and appreciate any extra donation you have to offer. Thanks! :) Knowledgeable Loving Home a Must!
We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We have well over the amount of the adoption fee invested into Reese so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Reeese needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
