Personality: Peanut is a sweet but very shy mare. She did not have any real handling before she came to us in foal with Peaches. She can now be called to come to the gate and if approached quietly will stand to be haltered. Fast movements frighten her.
History/Training: Leads and Ties to be groomed.
Future/Suitability: Possibly cart with a quiet hand, companion.
Additional Info: Peanut is a very sweet mare who had little to no handling before she came to us 2yrs. ago. She leads nicely and stands well for the farrier on most occasions. She needs a quiet hand and gentle voice. She is used to dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens. She has just started to approach small children, but is still unsure.

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We know we will never recoup what we will invest into Peanut, so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Peanut needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
