Gender: Gelding
Colour: Bay with Lots of White Markings.
Health: Heaves, Best if Kept Outside 24/7 with a Shelter. Vaccinations and Teeth Floating Were Done Nov 2015. Best on Grass and Good Quality Hay in a Slow Feeder Hay Net. Currently on RespiFree.
Lameness: Sound. No Known Issues. Good Feet.
Most Recent Farrier: May 24th, 2017.
Vices: None Known.
Personality: Friendly. Easy to Catch, Lead, Groom, Tie, Trailer, etc. Great with Other Horses.
History/Training: Has Been a Trail Horse to Our Knowledge. UPDATE: We have had several rides now on King and we have discovered he is happiest to be groomed/tacked up/ridden with a friend. He becomes insecure when alone in the barn/stall and seems happiest to be ridden beside/behind another horse.
Future/Suitability: Very Light Pleasure Riding/Trails, Companion, etc. Plod Along the Trails at a Walk Kind of Horse.
Additional Info: King Arrived to HCW back in Sept 2015 and was adopted out shortly after to a good home. Unfortunately his current adoptive owner is not comfortable riding him alone, so he needs a new home where he will be ridden/groomed with another horse.
