Personality: Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, bathe, farrier, trailer, etc. Good with other horses, ponies and donkeys.
History/Training: Pleasure Driving and Pleasure Riding. Some Dressage Training as Well. Professionally Trained by Randy Bird, Harwood, ON, in 2004. Jade will suit a smaller lady driver who likes to drive on the farm or quiet roads. Jade does W/T/C and Small X Jumps Under Saddle. We will be taking Jade to a hunter schooling show in a couple of weeks! Jade has always been shod on all 4's for driving along the roads, but we have had her barefoot for several months now and she seems to be doing just fine without the shoes!
Future/Suitability: Pleasure Driving, Riding (English or Western) Best Suited to a Small Person Under 125lbs as she is not very big. Would likely do well in some dressage shows or pony club!

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We already know we will never recoup what we will put into Jade so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Jade needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since Oct 2011.
