Personality: Sweet heart. She's a favorite in our barn for younger kids. She's a good first Time ride horse she just can't take kids further because she still paces a bit.
History/Training: Broodmare, Lessons, Trails
Future/Suitability: Excellent Trail Hack/Horse and Companion! Doesn't need an experienced rider if you just want to plod along the trails. She will go great for an advanced rider who can ride her into the contact from behind. One of my riders was working with her but got to busy with school. She can jump the moon and I'm trying to find the picture of her jumping at 4'0 with ease.
Info Rec'd from Standardbred Canada (Thanks Liz!): "The freeze brand "ZR535" belongs to an 11 year old mare named Healeys Return..her birth date is April 5, 2002, her sire is Seasoned Pleasure her dam is Healeys Reward and the sire of the dam is Valleymeister (all are trotting bred). Healeys Reward never raced but she did have 2 foals. Her first foal Jay Jay Redsky was born April 1, 2007 and has $36,170 made lifetime and is currently racing. Her second foal is Jayjays Romance was born April 15, 2008 has $4,185 made lifetime and last raced February 2, 2013.

Adoption Fee/Purchase Price:
We accept donations year round. Donations can be $$, Hay, Feed, Supplements, Feed Store Gift Cards, Saddles, Tack, Riding, Apparel, Blankets (in good usable/sellable condition). We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We understand we will be taking a loss on Hailey, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Hailey needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
