Age: Unknown (Put through the auction as a 4 yr old but we feel he is much older, we are going to compare his teeth to our chart)
Gender: Gelding
Colour: Chestnut
Health: Excellent
Lameness: Sound, There is a Small Little Lump on the Front of His Right Leg But It Doesn't Appear to Bother him in Anyway
Vices: None
Personality: Easy to Catch (with treats), Lead, Groom, Tie, etc. Pushy and not good with his feet, so obviously not suitable for a beginner handler/rider. Good with other horses, ponies & donkeys.
History/Training: Unknown, Purchased From an Auction, Halter Broke, Started Under Saddle.
Future/Suitability: With Training He Should be Suitable for Pretty Much Anything ... Riding or Driving, English or Western, Show or Pleasure. He needs to be started over from scratch with ground work and saddle work, some parelli natural horsemanship in a round pen would do wonders for him.

Chester's Regular Price is $800 obo. To take advantage of this $300 sale price you must have your application approved, pay for Chester in full and have him picked up (or delivered at your expense) on or before Nov 15, 2009. We have at least $1500+ invested into Chester with his purchase price, trailering, hay, deworming, farrier, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Chester so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Chester needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. He has been patiently waiting since Nov '08. All offers/trades will be considered, but not necessarily accepted.
