Personality: Bucky is a fun little pony who loves to play with other horses. He came to us with the name Bucky O'Hara but has never bucked! He has always shown patience and love towards our children and smaller animals. He loves treats and greets you with a happy knicker every night for his alfalfa/timothy cubes. He is very dependent on other horses and does not do well alone. He should only go to a home with another horse for companionship.
History/Training: Bucky taught my children how to ride and the family before ours. He is good on a lead for a younger child and has a lovely trot / canter for the more experienced little rider. He also loves to get out on the trails.
Future/Suitability: Children's / Youth riding pony, leadline - WE WILL BE TAKING BUCKY TO A SHOW IN A COUPLE WEEKS SO STAY TUNED FOR SHOW PHOTOS!!! HE IS GOING TO LOOK SUPER ADORABLE ALL BRAIDED UP!!
Additional Info: Bucky is generally wary of strangers. He thrives on consistency and needs a gentle owner to gain his trust. Does well if held for the farrier. Hops right on for trailering. Stands well for grooming and gives feet nicely. Doesnt like a strong spray from hose when bathing. Does not like fly spray from the spray bottle so we rub it on with a towel. He is a very special little pony and deserves a happy forever home with other horses and a family that loves him as much as we do.

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Bucky needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
