Health: Excellent
Lameness: Not Sound in Front Right Ankle - Our Vet Called it a Contracted Tendon or a Flexural Deformity. She feels it probably developed from an injury when Annie was a young growing horse and it will now be permanent. The vet also said that surgical correction is possible although she doesn't know if it would be successful at her age.
Vices: None
Personality: Friendly. Easy to Catch, Lead, Groom, Tie, Farrier, Trailer, etc. Good with other horses, ponies and donkeys.
History/Training: Pet, Broodmare - Has had at least 2 known foals (Ace & Annabella, also adopted through HCW).
Future/Suitability: Companion / Pet
Additional Info: This mare's owner passed away. She was brought to us by his family. They knew little to nothing about her so I will update this page with further info as I get to know Annie personally.
Vaccinations: Rabies PHF Combo (Sept 28, 2010), Influenza/Tetnas/Encephalitis (fluvanEWT/encevat TC4) Sept 28, 2010 and Jan 3, 2011, Strangles Jan 3, 2011.

We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We accept email money transfers or cash. We will never recoup what we have put into Annie so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, so please feel free to make an offer. All offers will be considered. We cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Annie needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since June 2010. Sadly during her time with us no one has yet to come out to visit/adopt her.
